Apostle Clendon Terry

Apostle Dr. Clendon Terry is a transparent leader whose life has exemplified “from the pit to the pulpit.” His testimony continues to inspire many to give their lives to Christ. In 1978 he accepted his call into ministry after which, he would transition and grow under his spiritual leadership of the late Pastor Cherry Sr. of From The Heart Church Ministries. On June 5, 2001, he was appointed as Pastor of Community Church of Christ in Pasadena, MD which would ultimately become Promise Land Church Ministries (PLCM). Since his installment, the church has continued to experience steady growth under his direct leadership.  Apostle Terry currently oversees 20 active and flourishing ministries that operate under the PLCM umbrella. 

 

As a dynamic teacher, leader, speaker, counselor, and spiritual advisor, Apostle Terry carries out all of his leadership roles under the full authority of the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Through outreach, fellowships, workshops, teachings and more, Apostle Terry utilizes his natural and spiritual abilities to carry out God’s vision to “seek and save those who are lost” with the aid of his family and faithful members. Apostle Terry has also earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies, M.A. in Ministry, and Doctorate in Theology. 

 

Apostle Clendon Terry is a family oriented man who presently resides with his wife Eld Robin P. Terry in Gwynn Oak, MD. Together they have five children and several grandchildren.
